- To access your unique advocate link, first log into GiveCampus. Then click “copy to share” near the top of the page to get your link. Using your unique link will track any clicks and gifts you generate from your post!

- For 2026, The University of Toledo Foundation is producing five Why to Give videos comprised of students, doctors, staff and community partners. Advocates are welcome to share any or all of this videos on their own pages.

Below are a few talking points we've created for you. But remember, you know your fellow Rocket classmates and alumni better than we ever could, so share your story and ask them to support UToledo on this special day.
- Gifts can be made online at give.utoledo.edu or by calling 419.530.7730.
- Encourage them to increase their gift over last year.
- Any gift, in any amount, is appreciated. If they have never given before, encourage them to give $20.26 in honor of this philanthropic milestone.
- Thank them for their continued support — whether they give or not.
Email Sample
Below is a sample email you can send to fellow alumni and Rocket fans. You know your classmates and fellow graduates better than we do, so personalize the email to fit your purpose. You also can forward one of the previous Day of Giving emails and add your own message at the top.
I hope by now you've heard about The University of Toledo's Rocket Forward Day of Giving! The 2026 campaign theme is "The Power To Do. Powered By You." This speaks to the impact our donors have on improving UToledo's campuses, medical center, and student experiences. I've already made my gift to _________, and I hope you'll join me in making one too at give.utoledo.edu.
I invested in UToledo because of the wonderful Rocket experience I had at a pivotal time in my life. I'm encouraging others to do the same so current and future students can have the same, or better, opportunities I had.

Video Guidelines
- The Foundation will produce three campaign-level videos for Day of Giving (hype video, main video and thank you video), as opposed to the roughly 20 videos produced for various programs in previous years.
- The Foundation will also produce five "Why To Give" videos featuring students, doctors, staff and community partners for advocates to share on social media.
- A campaign-level video will be featured throughout GiveCampus, including all college and program-level pages.
For colleges and programs producing a video
- For individual programs with resources to create video for the campaign, we recommend that these videos are shared on program websites and/or social media accounts.
For assistance producing a video
- Please contact Tom Zapiecki, UToledo Director of Media Services, via email or at 419.530.2593 to arrange a video shoot.
- The cost of the video shoot will be your department or program's responsibility.
Advocate Training
Advocate training sessions help get you acclimated to the Advocate features of GiveCampus and prepare you to best promote your college or unit.
Below are the training dates/times. Advocates only need to attend one session. If you cannot attend either session, a recording will be made available.
