Request a Budget Carry-Forward
Budget carry-forward only applies to Endowed Funds (funds that start with a 1).
Budget carry-forward allows the unspent budget from the current fiscal year to be carried forward into the next fiscal year and combined with the new fiscal year budget.
Budget carry-forward should be considered when a spending plan has been established for the unspent budget or there is a planned long-term savings for larger purchases that exceed the amount available for annual budgets.
Please note the funds designated in your budget do not earn investment income for the fund since the funds are available for current spending.
Your budget carry-forward request will be sent directly to UT Foundation
accounting for approval and processing. You will be notified if the request is
not approved.
Budget Carry-Forward Request:
Please submit your requests between May 1st and July 15th.
